Mitch Albom reminds us that "Everyone has an idea of heaven, as do most religions and they should all be respected."

What is your idea or definition of heaven?

Your response should be no less than 75 words and is due by 11:59 PM Monday (9/15).

  1. My idea of heaven my be the same as others or may be different. Heaven to me is we're you go and were you are rewarded. Heaven has no limits. Heaven is the one place that anything you want s possible were you can do nothing you won't without restrictions. We're there is always peace of mind. Where people understand others and are always built up. Heaven is the place to live eternal life were life on earth is just a blip in time.

  2. Well my definition of heaven would be a place you want to go when you die. There are different places you can go but I always think that you will go to the place you choose. There is no bad place there is just your place. That is what I think happens. There is a heaven and that were everyone goes but I think there is a place in heaven that is for you. You have your place and that's where you will go. It is what ever you want. Know one will judge you on what bad you have done because that is what happens sometimes you do bad things but no matter what you are excepted! You will go to a place no matter what. You have a lot. Of places to choose from you just have to decide which one is your place.

  3. My idea of heaven is just that, it's heaven. A place you can be where you don't have to worry about anything and you can see the people you love. A place where nothing bad ever really happens and you don't have to keep a guard up. It keeps you warm and you're safe from nightmares, kind of like a fairy tale I suppose. But in my opinion heaven won't be a fairy tale you have to be good and you have to accept the belief of where you're going or you won't understand as to why you're there. We all die sometime and we have the choice as to where we go.

  4. My detention of heaven is a place where you go up with god. In heaven you don't have to worry about anything because you are with god. Heaven is also a place where you meet up with your family members that passed away before you. When you are in haven you will become gods angel. Also when you are in haaven you will watch over your family and you will try to guide them to a better place. Heaven is a place where there is no troubles. Haven is a perfect place to be.

  5. My definition of heaven is somewhere where you always wanted to be with people that make you happy. I'm not exactly sure what all that is for me but I'm still young and if I were to die now I still have strong enough faith that I know heaven will be where I want to be. The idea in my head most likely isn't what heaven really is. However as we all get older we learn and live and we learn how to live. Like what Morrie said once you've learned how to die you have learned how to live. Well once you are strong in your faith and know when your time comes you are ready that's when your really live.

  7. Many people see heaven a different way than I do. And not everyone I talk to believes that there is a heaven. The way I see heaven is very beautiful. It's almost like paradise. The people there are so welcoming and everywhere I look I'm amazed. The houses look like castles, the trees are very colorful, the grass is as soft as a rabbit, the food is as good as my mothers cooking, and everyone is unique in their own way.

  8. My idea of heaven is the best place you can go after death. I think everyone has a different outlook on heaven it's just how you we're raised. My idea of heaven would be the same descriptions that you always hear out of the bible. Heaven has the big entrance as everyone always describes, and I think it would be more than I could ever describe. I think of the the description I picture the most is heaven being in the sky.

  9. FOR KARA - My idea of heaven is where we go after death. It's a place where all our sins are forgiven and we all love each other equally. Where we are accepted and nothing could go wrong. We go to be with our Savior who has loved us and forgiven us our whole lives. Also, I think it would just be a better life because have no troubles, no worries, and no problems. Heaven seems to be like a great place to me.

  11. My definition of heaven is a utopia, a perfection of perfect! I believe it would be the homes of all homes. It's going to be what we want the most. It will have our loved ones and our families that make it there. It will have all of our desires and needs. I believe also in the possibility in reincarnation. Think about it. How are there protégés of Bethoven, Shakespeare, Thomas Edison, and many others. How are they able to just love and have a passion for something the have never been around and actually make good out of it? How does that just happen. I'm just saying no one knows till your dead and once your dead your soul strives on, weather it be it in heaven or hell.

  12. I really don't know what heaven is or if it even exist. I would say it is just a place for departed souls. That's only if there is a heaven you never truly know until it you die. Although if that were true then I would have had the chance but when I died I didn't see anything nor will I claim that I did so I don't know it just depends on your point of view.

  13. My idea of heaven is when you die if you have gotten your life right with Jesus and you live for him then you know that you are going to heaven. People aren't perfect. That's right. People will make mistakes no matter what religion you have. Sometimes you will fail your higher power. But that's when praying comes in and it will heal you of whatever you have done and life's will go on. My idea of heaven is a perfect place. It has never ending everything. It is something perfect that no one could ever possibly even imagine. You can have everything you always dreamed of having you can have as many animals as you want. You get to see all the people that you love the most and have missed so dearly being down on earth. You just get to have absolutely everything you want. Nothin will ever go wrong then. You won't get judged. You can be who you are and everything else.

  14. My idea of heaven is not really a place you go to after you die because you lived a righteous life and was a good person to all others. I think heaven is a place you can visit anytime. A place that makes you feel safe and at peace with yourself, or unberdened of life. You should always be a good person wether a heaven exists or not, but why wait until you die to experience the things promised to you in heaven. It should be accessible in this life time to all those who are willing to find it.

  15. My idea of Heaven is a place where you are never mad, sad, you're always happy. You get all you have ever wanted up in Heaven. No one ever judges you or hurts you, you're loved and treated nicely and respected. It's where your soul goes after your time is up here on earth. It's the place where we show up at Heavens gates and get to meet our savior that got his life token from him for us. Heaven just sounds like a magical beautiful place. Also in Heaven you will get to meet back up with your family members and loved ones that passed before you did on earth. Everyone should be excited for Heaven. Nothing about it seems scary.

  16. Heaven is a place where christians go after they have passed away. It’s a place where we are loved unconditionally and all of our failures are forgiven. Heaven is pain free, there’s no sinning, and you get to reunite with your loved ones again. No matter what our life's were like on Earth, we are accepted and forgiven eternity.

  17. My definition of heaven for me is a place where you find your own peace. A place where you don't have to worry about anything like pain, fear, sadness, and the other negative aspects of our lives before death. It's a place where there are no words to describe the beauty of heaven. It is filled with bright lights, good people, and beautiful angels. It's a place where you revisit your loved ones and your pets. Believe in God and you will be treated well in heaven. Heaven is a place we all want to see and live forever

  18. After we die our spirits will go to the spirit world to wait for the second coming , while the body remains in the grave. But our the spirit enters the spirit world and wait. we will be the same form as when we lived on the earth with bodies of flesh and bones. We will look as we do here. We will think the same way and believe the same things as we did here. Also we will have the same desires and we'll act the same way we did on earth.after the second coming we will be judge on how we did on earth.
Did we keep our convents, our work, how well we keep the commandment and how obedient we were. After we get judged we get sent to one of the three kingdoms of glory. The celestial kingdom, the terrestrial kingdom, and the telestial kingdom.

  19. My idea of heaven is the second life that we have. What I mean is that when you die, heaven is the place you go to for eternity. It's where you meet up with all of your lost family and relatives. It's also a place where the is always love and happiness, and never any sin. Heaven is also where you go when you recognize Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Once you realize that, you will walk hand in hand with Jesus, and it will only be happy thoughts after that.
