"...The best laid plans of Mice and of Men,
Often go awry,
And leave us nothing but grief and pain,
for the joy we expected!..." - translation "To a Mouse" by Robert Burns
When I have a dream,
ReplyDeleteIt consumes my mind.
No matter how big it is,
I hope it to be mine.
But when it comes to me and fails,
It fills me with remorse
Because that dream I hoped for so,
Has left and will not return.
Life is like a dandilion
ReplyDeleteThe wind blows it everywhere
But it doesn't know where to land
My dreams are like dandilions
They done know where to land
Its up to me to make me dreams land
I love how it paints a picture. I really like the analogy "Life is like a dandelion." Good job.
DeleteI gotta a dream so far way that I can't seem to reach.
ReplyDeleteSo I get up and try again.I learn and grow and reach up.
I rather shoot for the moon,
and miss than shoot for the gutter and hit.
Don't care if I try a hundred times.
When a dream don't manage to come
ReplyDeleteTrue it's scary the things well do
To get the closest to it even
If it means meeting doom
Subconsciously knowing well never have
The dream come true
Oh, long days and nights with no sleep. The days become dreadfully monotonous. but when i am blessed with a dream, it is grand. I see my brighter future, the one i must attain. but, for now, I must continue on with this rut if have made.
ReplyDeleteIs It Real?
ReplyDeleteI once had a dream
I was in love
It was romantic and beloved
Our relationship did not last
It was only a dream

ReplyDeleteLife keeps passin me by
I think of my dreams
What will come true
Life keeps goin
As I'm in a fog
That is how I feel like this year. Like where has the time gone. It 's our last year and I feel like i'm in a fog or in chaos. Being pulled in almost every direction.
